On Saturday, August 21, FFI Certified Casting Instructors Eric Callow (PCC) and Jody Martin (SPFF) will be demonstrating and hosting a morning of casting following the new FFI “Casting Skills” program. Come to learn about the program and/or try your hand at the three casting courses we will have set up on the grass.

You’ll need to bring your own rod, and if you want to register with FFI to receive recognition for achieving the bronze, silver, or gold casting levels, you will want to bring the appropriate paperwork from the FFI website. This is a no-pressure, fun way to challenge yourself and improve your casting in a relaxed environment.

• REGISTRATION:
  • Limited to only 12 casters, on a first come, first served basis.
  • There is a $20 payment associated with it; please register and pay through the SWC website.

  • Casting event fee: $20
  • Optional: Paperwork fee, upon completion of any of the levels are as follows:
    • BRONZE - $25
    • SILVER - $25 | * To receive credit for Silver Level you must have completed the Bronze skill level.
    • GOLD - $35 | * To receive credit for Gold Level you must have completed the Silver skill level.
